	Jon Siglar, Vice President of Sales & Field Services Jon joined Employers Direct in December of 2002, as the Vice President of Loss Control and designed and built the department to suit the company’s needs and those of our valued customers. He brings over 15 years of insurance industry experience and three years of risk management experience from the private sector to Employers Direct. Currently, Jon leads the Sales Department and is responsible for the acquisition and retention of new and existing customers. He also oversees the Customer Service Department, which, added as a new department this year, provides an additional layer of service to customers. Also, Jon is ultimately responsible for the direction of the Loss Control Department. Previously, Jon served as National Vice President of Accident Prevention for the General Business Segment at Royal & SunAlliance in Glendale, where he was a member of a nationwide team designed to research and develop new segments. His primary focus was to improve profitability through accident prevention services in the United States. In addition to his Associate in Risk Management designation, Jon’s experience also includes marketing, underwriting, and extensive loss control consulting with EBI Companies, Business Insurance Group, Unicare Insurance Company, and Pacific Rim Assurance Company.

	Edward Del Canto, Senior Marketing Officer Edward Del Canto joined Employers Direct Insurance Company in 2003, and works closely with prospects in the territory bordered by Riverside, Corona, San Clemente, and Newport Beach to identify prospective policyholder customers who will benefit from a partnership with Employers Direct. Eddie has over 10 years of high-end sales experience. Prior to joining Employers Direct, he was a top producer in the Pacific Business Division for Liberty Mutual. Eddie earned a B.A. Degree in Business Administration and Service Sector Management from California State University.

	Tricia Dow, Senior Marketing Officer Tricia Dow joined Employers Direct Insurance Company in 2003, and works closely with prospects in the territory bordered by East Los Angeles, Norwalk, Pasadena, and San Dimas to identify prospective policyholder customers who will benefit from a partnership with Employers Direct. Tricia has over 25 years of sales and marketing experience. She designed and implemented effective marketing programs for multiple companies, including Farmers Insurance Group, and also created training programs for 10 district offices that helped to efficiently develop new sales representatives. Tricia also originated and established the concept of "The Sales Center," which acted as a liaison between carriers and the sales team at Bolton & Company to align markets and producers. Tricia co-authored "The Commercial Sales & Marketing System," which became the national training template for Farmers Insurance Group. She also serves on the Education Board of the National Alliance.

	Vera Gale, Senior Marketing Officer Vera Gale joined Employers Direct Insurance Company in 2003, and works closely with prospects in the territory bordered by the mountain communities of the San Bernardino Mountains to the desert communities of the Coachella Valley to identify prospective policyholder customers who will benefit from a partnership with Employers Direct. Prior to Employers Direct, Vera began her insurance career in 1976 with a Los Angeles-based brokerage, providing customer service to Commercial Property and Casualty policyholders and, later moving into the marketing of commercial insurance products, including workers’ compensation. Vera has represented a national carrier, two international brokerages, and a large regional brokerage during her 30 years in the insurance industry. She also received the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation by the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors in 2001.

	Michael Gonzalez, Senior Marketing Officer Michael Gonzalez joined Employers Direct Insurance Company in 2002, and works closely with prospects in the territory bordered by Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, Culver City, and Newport Beach to identify prospective policyholder customers who will benefit from a partnership with Employers Direct. Michael has nearly 20 years experience in sales and marketing. He was the manager for the regional sales team for Anacomp Inc. and produced over $8.5 million in sales revenue. Michael then joined Liberty Mutual and was Senior Account Executive for 10 years and managed and sold over $17 million in premium business. He then selected a new path in the financial industry with Morgan Stanley as a Financial Advisor. By 2002, he was the Vice President of Group Programs for Amrstrong/Robitaille, where he sold and managed over $5 million in premium business. Michael received a B.A. Degree in Developmental Psychology from Arizona State University. He holds a property and casualty license in California, a Life Insurance License, Variable Contracts License and Series 7, 31, 63, 64, and is also licensed in Illinois and Minnesota.

	Steve Keshishian, Senior Marketing Officer Steve Keshishian joined Employers Direct in 2006, and works closely with prospects in the territory encompassing Sacramento and the Central Valley. For 28 years prior to joining Employers Direct, Steve was an active member of the Northern and Southern California Workers’ Compensation insurance communities. Steve’s previous role was as Territorial Sales Vice President for Networked Insurance Agents, where he served the needs of brokers for the Central Valley along with the South San Francisco Bay Area. Steve has also held positions in management, sales, marketing, and underwriting with Fremont Compensation, California Indemnity, and Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company. Steve is a licensed California Agent/Broker.

	Rich McClish, Senior Marketing Officer Rich McClish joined Employers Direct Insurance Company in 2003, and works closely with prospects in the territory bordered by Costa Mesa, Santa Ana, Tustin, and Huntington Beach to identify prospective policyholder customers who will benefit from a partnership with Employers Direct. Prior to joining Employers Direct, Rich was a Senior Account Representative for Liberty Mutual. As a National Account Manager, Rich designed effective strategies for retaining and selling commercial insurance programs. Rich received a B.A. Degree in Physical Science from San Diego State University and is currently pursuing his Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation.

	Kathleen B. Nagel, Senior Marketing Officer Kathleen Nagel joined Employers Direct Insurance Company in 2003, and works closely with prospects in the territory that includes Marin, Contra Costa, Napa, Sonoma, Solano, and Alameda counties to identify prospective policyholder customers who will benefit from a partnership with Employers Direct. Kathleen has over 10 years of sales experience from CT Insurance Services, Fair, Isaac and Company Inc., and Liberty Mutual Insurance Company. Her entrée into the insurance industry occurred in 1990, when she began her first career at Liberty Mutual Insurance as an all lines account underwriter. Kathleen left underwriting for the sales department in 1994, and since then, she continues to use her diverse insurance background and industry knowledge to enhance the successful relationships that she has with her policyholders. Kathleen received a B.A. Degree in Business Administration Economics from St. Mary’s College.

	Stephen Pallini, Senior Marketing Officer Stephen Pallini joined Employers Direct Insurance Company in 2004, and works closely with prospects in the San Jose area to identify prospective policyholder customers who will benefit from a partnership with Employers Direct. Starting out as an Underwriting Assistant for Reliance Direct, Steve quickly worked his way up to an Underwriter within two years at Venture Programs, where he was the top new business production underwriter. He was also the Workers’ Compensation Manager for Tanner Insurance Industries. Steve received a B.S. Degree in Business Administration from West Chester University. He holds a Property and Casualty License in the state of Pennsylvania and is a licensed Fire and Casualty Broker in California.
